GRAHAM

ALEXANDER
FOR DNV MAYOR

Real Accountability. Engineering Solutions. Defeat Mike Little's Status Quo and Stop Endless Taxpayer Fiascos.

UBC Engineer & Builder

Meet Graham Alexander

For years, Incumbent Mayor Mike Little and the municipal establishment have treated DNV taxpayers like an open-ended ATM while presiding over compounding financial disasters.

North Vancouver doesn’t need another career politician making excuses; it needs an engineer and a builder who knows how systems actually work. As a longtime local resident, UBC engineering graduate, and real estate developer (GGIQ Developments), I have spent my career designing and executing complex projects from the ground up.

I am running for Mayor of the District of North Vancouver to cut the red tape, fix our infrastructure gridlock, and stop runaway municipal spending before it crushes local families.

Challenging the Status Quo

Exposing the Fiascos & The Plan for DNV

Pragmatic solutions to fix what career politicians broke.

01

Stop the Tax Waste: Holding Little Accountable

The Record: Under current leadership, the North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant budget exploded into an astronomical multi-billion-dollar disaster, burdening residents with punishing utility rate spikes.

My Plan:

  • Demand an immediate, independent forensic audit of all expenditures.
  • Challenge Metro Vancouver authority to cap or exit financial exposure.
  • Protect DNV homeowners from regional mismanagement bills.
02

Move North Vancouver: Traffic Infrastructure

The Reality: Daily gridlock across the Ironworkers Memorial Bridge, Second Narrows, and local corridors paralyzes our region while incumbents offer excuses.

My Plan:

  • Push aggressively for senior government funding for a new Burrard Inlet crossing and Skytrain expansion.
  • Modernize local traffic signal synchronization to clear bottlenecks instantly.
  • Drive regional transport strategy through the Continental Framework.
03

Build Smarter: AI-Powered Permitting

The Reality: Bureaucratic red tape under current council stalls construction for years, driving up housing inflation and failing our community.

My Plan:

  • AI Instant Building Permits: Automate code-compliance software to review residential plans in minutes.
  • Cut unnecessary costs to unlock sensible, practical housing supply.
  • Deliver accountable, decentralized support and mental health care solutions.
